I have been using LogMeIn since it hit the market on Windows PC’s and had fantastic results. The software is easy and quick to install without needing to be a computer genius. Adium – Universal Chat for the Mac

Being a career Windows user who switched to the Mac a couple of years ago immediately sent me on a quest to find applications that would replace the ones I used on my PC. One of the applications I used extensively was a universal chat client. Rather than have to install one for Yahoo!, one for MSN, one for Google Talk, etc., I was able to use just one client to connect to all of them.
